Summer Wedding in alabama

This wedding has a special place in my heart. Caitlin & Drew are some of my closest friends so seeing them get married was one for the books since they had been together for years. Trust me, it was a long time coming. I had the honor of being not only their wedding photographer, but also a cameo as a bridesmaid! We started the day off by getting ready at one of the cabins owned by The Refuge in Paint Rock Valley of Alabama. This location was perfectly suited for Caitlin & Drew considering they are avid outdoors people. The property was surrounded by acres of picturesque land, including mountains. They did a first look before the ceremony & exchanged private letters they had written to each other to open on this very day. After having plenty of time for them to be together & get couple portraits, it was time for the ceremony. The presence of the Lord was all around as the family prayed over the couple, the message was spoken, worship was sung, & communion was shared between Caitlin & Drew. It was a beautiful ceremony & it only got better from there. Everyone crammed onto the dance floor as the live band performed. You could tell everyone was enjoying themselves on this August day!
